WINGS MAKE ASSISTANT COACH HIRE

[ABERDEEN] The Aberdeen Wings of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) have hired Coach Anthony Bohn as their new Assistant Coach. Bohn will join recently hired Head Coach Scott Langer for the 2016-2017 season.

Coach Bohn played hockey for four years at St. Mary's University earning several accomplishments, and has been coaching for 6 years. He served the last 3 of those seasons as Head Coach of the Atlanta/Topeka Capitals of the NA3HL. During that time, Bohn hit a 100-win milestone and won a South Division Regular Season Championship. He was also named Coach of the NA3HL Top Prospects Tournament all three years he coached in the league.

Bohn has moved over 30 players to the NAHL and NCAA Division 3 programs in his position with the Capitals. It is these accomplishments, and his great work ethic that drove the organization to hire him.

“Anthony is a young energetic coach who takes a lot of pride in doing things right,” said Head Coach Scott Langer. “He is a winner and we are extremely happy to bring his ability to develop hockey players to the Aberdeen Wing Family.”

Owner Greg Odde is equally impressed with Coach Bohn, “Anthony brings us a wealth of experience on and off the ice. Four years of college hockey, combined with assistant and head coaching jobs, has brought us an individual who can really relate to today's players.”

Coach Bohn will be making the move to Aberdeen soon and is looking forward to becoming a part of the organization, “My family and I are excited to become part of the Wings family. I would like to thank the Odde family and Scott Langer for the opportunity to be part of building a team the Aberdeen community will be proud of."
