Wings DI Alumni Update

Dartmouth College

Geoff Ferguson is currently in his senior season at Dartmouth College.  So far this year he has played in 12 games where he has 4 assists and 9 shots on goal.  Dartmouth currently has a 6-8-1 overall record and a 3-5-0 conference record.  Dartmouth’s next game is January 15th vs. Clarkson and the 16th vs. St. Lawrence.

Miami University Redhawks

Taylor Richart is currently in his senior season at Miami University.  Miami has an Overall record of 6-11-3 and a Conference record of 2-8-2.  Taylor has played in 18 games so far this season and has 2 assists and 15 shots on goal.  Miami’s next game is Saturday January 16th vs. Bowling Green.

University of Alabama Huntsville

Cody Marooney is in his junior season with Huntsville.  He currently has 4 goals and 2 assists in 19 games played, including a goal last weekend vs. Alaska.  Another former wing on the Chargers is Tyler Poulsen.  Tyler is currently a freshman who has played in 19 games.  He has 1 goal and 1 assist.  Huntsville’s next game is this Friday @ Ferris State. 

American International College

Hunter Leisner was one of the original members of the Aberdeen Wings and is currently in his junior season with the Yellow Jackets.  Hunter has a 0-5-0 record this season with 144 saves and a .842 save %.  American International’s next game is Friday January 22nd at Bentley University. 

Army West Point

C.J. Reuschlein is in his Junior year with the Black Knights and in 17 games played has 3 goals and 4 assists.  Army has a 5-10-5 Overall record and is 3-8-5 in conference action.  Next game is January 23 @ Royal Military College. 

St. Lawrence Saints

Joe Sullivan is a sophomore at St. Lawrence this season and currently has 4 goals and 6 assists in 20 games played for the Saints.  St. Lawrence is currently 10-8-2 overall and 4-3-1 in the conference.  There next game is January 15th @ Harvard.

University of Nebraska Omaha

Justin Parizek Is in his junior year with the Mavericks who are coming off a frozen four appearance.  So far this season Justin has played in 20 games for the Mavericks, and has 6 goals and 15 assists.  Matching the amount of points he has all of last year.  Justin is also a +8 on the year.  Omaha is 14-5-1 on the season with a 4-5-1 conference record.  They are back in action this Friday at the University of North Dakota. 

University of Michigan

Zach Nagelvoort is one of two former Wings to have been drafted in the NHL.  So far in his junior year Zach has played in 9 games and has a 5-2-1 record with 190 saves and 3.14 GAA.  Chad Catt is a freshman at the University of Michigan this year and has played in 2 games, and has 13 saves and is 0-0-2.  The Wolverines are currently 13-3-3 overall and 4-1-1 in the Big Ten.  Next game is January 15th @ Ohio State.

University of Minnesota

Steve Johnson is now in his sophomore season with the Golden Gophers.  In 15 games played Steve has 1 goal and 6 assists with 14 blocked shots.  The Gophers are 9-10-0 overall and 4-2-0 in the Big Ten.  Minnesota’s next game is January 15th vs Michigan State. 

University of Alaska Fairbanks

Peter Krieger is now a sophomore at UAF; in 10 games played Peter has 2 goals and 8 assists, a +3 +/- and 1 game winning goal.  The Nanooks are 6-12-4 overall and 4-10-4 in conference play.  Their next game is January 15th @ Northern Michigan. 

Air Force Falcons

Erik Baskin is now in his sophomore season with the Falcons and has 6 goals and 6 assists in 18 games played.  Erik’s performance this past weekend with 4 goals and 1 assist earned him AHC Player of the Week and NCAA’s 3rd star of the week.  Freshman Kyle Haak has played in all 20 games for the Falcons, with 5 goals and 3 assists.  Air Force is 9-9-2 overall and 7-5-2 in conference play. 

University of Massachusetts

Jake Horton is in his sophomore season with UMass.  Jake currently has 2 assist and 15 blocks in 8 games played this year.  Henry Dill also entered his sophomore season this year.  Henry has played in 5 games has a 2-2-0 record, 118 saves and a 3.74 GAA.  UMass is 7-10-4 overall and 2-5-4 in conference play.  Their next game is January 15th vs. UMass-Lowell. 

Arizona State University

Liam McGing is a freshman in the augural DI season for the Sun Devils.  Liam currently has 1 goal and 2 assists and 20 blocked shots in 13 games played.  AUS is 5-17-0 overall on the season. 

Bemidji State University

Cory Ward In a lot of ways paved the way for the current division I players coming out of Aberdeen.  He was on the original team back in 2010 and was one of the first to commit to a division I School.  Cory is now in his senior season with the Beavers and so far has played in 21 games scoring 6 goals, including 2 last weekend, and 7 assists, including 1 last weekend. 

Daniel Billett is in his freshman season at BSU and so far has played in 17 games, where he has 3 assists and is a +7 on the season. 

T.J. Roo is also a freshman at BSU.  He has played in 8 games has 1 assist and is a +2.

Jordan Heller is a sophomore with the Beavers this season.  In his 2nd year Heller has played in 18 games and has 3 goals and 1 assist.  2 of those goals coming last Saturday night vs. Alaska Anchorage.

Michael Soucier is in his freshman season with Bemidji and so far has played in 3 games with the Beavers and has a blocked shot.

Dillon Eichstadt is coming off a USHL Championship with the Sioux Falls Stampede and has carried that success with him to Bemidji during his freshman campaign.  Dillon has played in 21 games for the Beavers and has 6 assists and 32 blocked shots.

Reid Mimmack is a sophomore this year for BSU and has seen action between the pipes in 5 games so far Reid is 4-0-1 in games played with 11 goals against and 109 saves.

Bemidji State is 8-9-4 overall and has a conference record of 7-8-3.  BSU’s next game is This Friday at home vs. Arizona State University.
