Friday January 22 2016 The Aberdeen Wings were in Brookings taking on the Blizzard. A stellar performance in net by Peter Thome and goals from 4 different players let the Wings leave town with a 4-0 win! Carter Roo got things started for the Wings just over 5 minutes into the 1st period. Payne and Thome were credited with the assists. Tucker DeYoung extended the Wings lead to 2 late in the 2nd with a power play goal. Okeson and Cook assisted on the DeYoung goal. Kevin Fitzgerald would add another goal in the 3rd with Pulver and Riordan assisting. Finally Gavin Payne would end it mid-way through the 3rd with Roo and Siemers assisting on the final Wings goal. Peter Thome stopped all 32 SHOTS he faced.
