Your Aberdeen Wings (1-1-0) head to Minot for a Friday & Saturday games 3 & 4 match up with the Minotauros (1-1-0). Last weekend was a tale of 2 games as the Wings posted a commanding 6-0 win on Friday night that included a hat trick by Jonathan Bendorf. Saturday was a defensive battle, in which the Wings were unable to find the back of the net in a 2-0 loss. The home split for the Wings gave Minot home ice with both teams having a chance to win the best of 5 series this weekend with a sweep. Aberdeen will be looking to get their offense back on track and start getting more pucks on goal. Goaltending for the Wings has been solid in a rotation between Matt Vernon and Gabe Vinal all season long. Vernon was in net for both games last weekend, we will have to wait to see who gets the start tonight.
