The North American Hockey League announced Monday the Easton Divisional Stars of the Week. Receiving 1st Star honors was Wings goaltender #30 Henry Dill (G-Columbus, OH) for his two wins over rival Bismarck last weekend. Also receiving honorable mention was Wings forward #24 Jonathan Grebosky (F-Pittsburgh, PA).
Last Friday and Saturday, the Wings took on the Bismarck Bobcats away and home. The games were intense as the coveted Titan Cup was up for grabs. Dill was solid in goal, stopping all but one shot in each game. For the weekend he stopped 68 of 70 shots for a 97% save percentage.
Grebosky had a goal and an assist in Friday night’s 5-1 victory over Bismarck, but was a force in both games. The outstanding efforts of the Wings players and coaches have earned them the Titan Cup, sponsored by Titan Machinery which is a rivalry title between Aberdeen and Bismarck.
The Aberdeen Wings are back in action Wednesday on the road at Bismarck, and then a weekend series on the road at the Brookings Blizzard.
