Aberdeen 2 @ Bismarck 1 (OT) – Dalton Weigel’s breakaway goal lifted the Aberdeen Wings to a 2-1 overtime win over the Bismarck Bobcats. Adam Pitters scored the only goal in regulation for the Wings, who picked up the series split this weekend. Gabe Vinal wasn’t tested often as he only had to make 16 saves but it was enough to earn his 14th win of the year. Mitchell Walinski netted the only Bismarck goal of the night and John Roberts got the tough luck loss as he made 41 saves.

The Wings win and the Bruins sweeping Minot over the weekend sets up a HUGE match up between the top two teams in the Central Division this coming weekend at the Odde Ice Center!  Only 2 points now separate the teams.  Combine that with 9 Wings players and Head Coach Scott Langer spending the majority of the week at the NAHL Top Prospects Tournament in Plymouth, MI makes for a busy week.  The Wings will have at least 1 player in every game on Tuesday and Wednesday.  For the full schedule and rosters visit http://www.nahl.com/tpt/

$10 general admission tickets for this weekends series are available at any of the 4 C-Express locations in Aberdeen!
