Your Aberdeen Wings rallied after falling behind in the 1st to come away with a 2-1 overtime victory Friday night at the Odde Ice Center.  Minot started the scoring with 1st period goal from Fritz Belisle.  That would be all the offense for the Tauros though as Matt Vernon was great in the cage stopping 18 of the 19 shots he faced.  Nathan Burke would get the Wings on the board midway through the contest with assists going to Strada & Noble on the power play!  After a scoreless 3rd Jonathan Bendorf would ended it on a 2 on 0 breakaway in the extra session.  Noble was able to pick up the puck at center ice and skate into the zone giving in to Bendorf for the backhanded finish.

Wings owners Greg & Nancy Odde along with their grand kids Parker & Ashlynn Odde presented the Yelduz Shrine with a check from the November jersey auction for $21,775.  The funds will go toward helping the Shrine transport patients from the Aberdeen area to the Shriner’s Children’s Hospital in the Twin Cities.
