Saturday November 19th 2011 your Aberdeen Wings were in Austin Minnesota taking on the Bruins.  It didn’t look promising for the Wings as they were down 2-0 late in the 3rd period.  But with an extra attacker on the ice Paul Prescott was able to get the Wings on the board at the 18:37 mark of regulation.  Assisting on the Prescott goal was Parizek & Sullivan.  Under a minute later and once again with an extra attacker Joe Mottiqua was able to tie the game with 35 seconds remaining.  Assisting Joe were Ward & Ohnsted.  The game would stay tied throughout over time sending the contest to a shootout.  6 shooters were needed, Aberdeen had goals from Justin Parizek and Kevin Becker while Austin was only able to get 1 past Marcus Zelzer to give the Wings 2 points and a 3-2 shootout win!  Zelzer made 29 saves on 31 shots throughout regulation and overtime.
