Your Aberdeen Wings (8-6-2-0) have a home & home this weekend with their in-state rivals the Brookings Blizzard (9-7-0-1).  The Wings will be on the road Friday and back at the Odde Saturday.  Aberdeen is 1-3 vs. the Blizzard this season.  The Wings will be looking for Nathan Burke to continue his hot streak which helped him earn the NAHL Central Divisions Star of the Week this past week.  Burke is also climbing the charts in the NAHL rankings.  He is currently #15 on the NAHL Scoring list with 16 points, 9 goals 7 assists.  He is also leading the league in power play points with 11, 6 goals 5 assists.  Also earning accolades from the league last weekend was goaltender Gabe Vinal, who was named honorable mention.  Gabe played a key in the Wings getting a road sweep of the Minot Minotauros.  Gable made 42 saves on 44 shots against the Minotauros.  Gabe is currently sitting at the #14 spot on the goaltender chart for the league with only 7 games played.  Defenseman Jack Kelly finds himself on the league leaders list for +/- at the #3 spot with a +10.

Friday will be a 7:05 puck drop from the Larson Ice Center.  You can watch the game at Buffalo Wings & Rings in Aberdeen or by logging on to HockeyTV.com.  You can listen to the game on 94.1 The Rock, HubCityRadio.com or the Hub City Radio App.  The Wings return to the Odde Saturday night for Military Appreciation Night!  All active and retired Military Personnel will receive FREE admission to the game and their families will receive a discounted ticket at the door.  Aberdeen Wings caps will be given out throughout the game courtesy of Ultimate Graphics.  $10 general admission tickets are now on sale at all 4 C-Express locations!  Doors open at 5:30 and the puck always drops at 7:15.
