November 1st 2014 your Aberdeen Wings were on the road taking on the Minot Minotauros in what would end up being a defensive battle.  Goaltending from both teams was on point that night, but with 30 seconds to go in the 1st period Wings forward Michael Soucier would give the Wings all that they would need with a goal assisted by Colin O’Neill & Kyle Haak.  All 3 players along with that nights winning goaltender Andrew Shortridge who made 31 saves on 31 shots are currently playing DI Hockey.  Michael Soucier is in his junior season with the Bemidji State Beavers, Colin O’Neill is in his Sophomore season with the UMass Lowell River Hawks, Kyle Haak is a Junior at the Air Force Academy & Shortridge is a Sophomore at Quinnipiac.

The Wings will once again head to Minot this weekend for a Friday, Saturday match ups with the Minotauros.  Friday nights puck drop will be at 7:35pm, and Saturday they will drop the puck at 8:05pm.  Both games can be seen at Buffalo Wings & Rings in Aberdeen or by logging on to HockeyTV.com.  As always you can listen to the action on 94.1 The Rock, HubCityRadio.com or the Hub City Radio Apps!
