Your Aberdeen Wings used an offensive explosion Friday night in Brookings to cruise to a 9-4 victory.  Aberdeen saw goals from Murphy, Walker (2), Fletcher (2), Clendenin (2), Noble, & Carballo.  That combined with a stellar defensive performance and goaltending gave the Wings the W.

Saturday night the Wings came home to play at the Odde for the first time this year.  The anticipation was met with with a similar result.  The Wings fell behind early and trailed 1-0 after the first period.  After that it was all Aberdeen!  Goals from Filip Dusek got the Wings on the board in the 2nd period, followed by a later period penalty shot goal from Trey Bagwell.  The 3rd period had goals from Riley Murphy & John Sladic to give the Wings a 4-1 win and sweep.

Aberdeen finished the exhibition season with a 3-1 record.  The Wings will kick off the regular season this Wednesday-Saturday at the NAHL Showcase in Blaine, MN.  Then they return home for the regular season home opener Friday September 29th vs. Brookings!
