Central Division Finals, Game 3: Minnesota Wilderness 4 @ Aberdeen Wings 1 (Minnesota leads series, 2-1) – A pair of goals from Nick Altmann helped push the Minnesota Wilderness to take their first series lead after a 4-1 victory over the Aberdeen Wings in Game 3. Nick Altmann opened the game with a goal just 5 seconds into the first period, unassisted. Tim Nicksic also notched one in the first period – at 10:27, also unassisted. Altmann found the back of the net again at 13:18 of the second period, with help from Ashton Altmann and Tyler Vold. Luke Dow brought the scoring total to four goals – at 18:48, assisted by N. Altmann and Gunnar Goodmanson. The Wilderness head into the third period with a 4 goal lead. Colin Raver notched the only Wings’ goal of the night, off a pass from Carter Roo at 17:41 of the third – bringing the final score to 4-1. Minnesota’s Luke Kania made 30 saves on the night, while Forbes Ploszaj stopped 23 shots for Aberdeen. Minnesota heads into Game 4 with a chance to advance to the Robertson Cup, and the Wings face elimination. Boxscore
