The Aberdeen Wings needed double overtime to finally win the best of 5 series vs the number 1 Central Division seeded Minot Minotauros Saturday night at the Odde Ice Center!  Tyler Bossert (Roo & Strada) got things started for the Wings with a snipe over the shoulder of the Minot goaltender.  Just minutes later Adam Pitters (Bagwell & Murphy) would give the Wings a 2-0 lead with a goal of his own.  Minot would answer with two goals of their own late in the 1st & 2nd to tie the game.  Both teams would go scoreless through the 3rd and the first overtime.  Carson Dimoff would be the hometown hero with a wraparound goal early in the 2nd overtime sending the Wings to their first Central Division Final in franchise history.  Dimoff was assisted by Kevin Fitzgerald and Carter Roo.  The win gave the Wings a 3-1 series win and advanced them into the NAHL Central Division Championship Series.  The Wings will face the winner of the Brookings Blizzard Minnesota Wilderness series which is tied at 2 games each.  Game 5 will be in Minnesota Monday night.  Regardless of the winner the Wings will be on the road next weekend for the first 2 games of the best of 5 championship series,  The Wings will return home Friday May 5th and if necessary 6th.  Ticket information will be provided once the opponent is decided!
