April 8th 2016 Your Aberdeen Wings were on the road in Austin battling for the final playoff spot in the Central Division and used a solid performance in net to send it to the final game of the season.

Kevin Fitzgerald got the Wings on the board with the eventual game winner at the 19:40 mark of the 1st period.  Assisting on the goal were Ryan Cook and Tyler Bossert.  Gavin Payne would add an insurance goal late in the 3rd period to give the Wings a 2-0 win.  Assisting on the Payne goal were Jake Leitner & Brendan Riordan.  Peter Thome got the shut out for the Wings stopping all 36 shots he faced.

The Wings close out their regular season with a home & home against the Brookings Blizzard.  Friday night the Wings are at the Odde for the regular season home finale & Military Appreciation Night!  All active and veterans will receive FREE admission!  Skate with the Wings after the Game!
