Your Wings used a 3 goal 2nd period by Tyler Bossert to skate away with a 6-3 win Thursday vs. Brookings at the Odde Ice Center!  Brookings got the scoring started at the 5:24 mark of the 1st period.  Only 26 seconds after that the Wings would answer when Joey Strada lit the lamp with the assists going to Bossert & Roo.  Colton Fletcher would add another to give the Wings the lead at the 8:01 mark with Raver & Kelly assisting.  Raver would add a goal of his own to give the Wings a 3-1 lead heading into the 1st intermission.  Assisting on the Raver goal was Carroll & Jenuwine.  The Blizzard would get to within 1 early in the 2nd period, but after that it was the Tyler Bossert show.  Bossert scored at the 8:12 mark of the 2nd on the power play, to increase the Wings lead back to 2 goals.  Assisting on his 1st goal were Strada & Kmec.  Bossert got another goal this time even strength at the 10:53 mark with Roo & Kmec assisting.  Bossert would finish off the natural hat trick just 5 minutes later shorthanded with Sinard & Jenuwine assisting.  That would be all the Wings would need.  Brookings would get one to get to within 3 but Forbes Ploszaj shut the door stopping 28 of the 31 shots he faced.
