Your Aberdeen Wings had an offensive eruption Friday night in the Odde to Cruise to a 7-2 victory over the Bismarck Bobcats.  Aberdeen went down early but used late 1st period goals from Zach Noble (Bagwell & Dusek) & Tyler Bossert (Fitzgerald & Mackie) to take a 2-1 lead into the 1st intermission.  The 2nd was all Aberdeen all the time, adding 3 more to jump to a 5-1 lead.  Scoring for the Wings in the 2nd were Nathan Burke (Roo & Raver), Carson Dimoff (Smith & Fitzgerald) & Tyler Bossert (Fitzgerald & Dimoff)  This was Nathan Burke’s first goal as a Wing!  Kevin Fitzgerald (Bossert & Carroll) added an early 3rd period goal to hep pad the lead.  Bismarck would get another before Tim Makowski (Mackie & Isenhour) would end the scoring for the evening leaving the Wings a 7-2 win.  Forbes Ploszaj stopped 17 of the 19 shots he faced.

The Wings are back at the Odde tomorrow to face Austin who fell to Brookings tonight 6-5.  Saturday is Education Appreciation night!  All educators will receive $2 off admission at the door.  Corporate Sponsor is Aberdeen Fire & Rescue A Shift and we will welcome NSU’s International Students!  Doors open at 5:30 and the puck drops at 7:15!
