November 14th 2014 your Aberdeen Wings traveled south to take on the Brookings Blizzard. In a back and forth game it would be Austin Heakins that would give the Wings a 3-2 victory late in the 3rd period. Brookings would go up on a goal late in the 1st period. Aberdeen would respond on a goal from Michael Soucier at the 14:15 mark of the 2nd. Assisting on the Soucier goal were Colin O’Neill and Austin Heakins. The teams would head into the final 20 with a 1-1 tie. Brookings would retake the lead midway through the 3rd. After that it was all Heakins. Austin would get his 1st goal of the evening at the 8:52 mark of the 3rd. Assisted by Drew Doyon & Will Hammer. In typical Heakins fashion he waited until the 19:59 mark of the 3rd to get his 2nd goal and 3rd point of the night to give the Wings a 3-2 road victory. Assisting on the game winner were O’Neill & Doyon.
