October 16th 2010 Your Aberdeen Wings faced off against Owatonna. Owatonna would get on the board early and often taking a 3-0 lead into the 1st intermission. Aberdeen responded in the 2nd with 3 of their own from Cory Ward, Nils Semjonovs and Paul Prescott to take a 3 all tie into the 3rd period. The teams traded goals throughout the 3rd with Ward and Max Revis scoring for the Wings. The game would eventually go into overtime when Owatonna would come away with the W. Hunter Leisner played the majority of the minutes for the Wings making 30 saves on 34 shots. Ward ended the game with 2 goals and 2 assists.
