2014 NAHL Draft Selections: Aberdeen Wings

Jun 3, 2014

On Tuesday, the North American Hockey League held their annual NAHL Entry-Draft. Potential junior hockey players all across the nation and internationally were anxious to hear their name called to represent one of the 24 teams in the NAHL.

The Aberdeen Wings were awarded 7 selections, one pick in each of the first seven rounds. New head coach Francis Anzalone was joined by the coaching staff and scouting staff to make the best selection that not only fills roster spots in pursuit of another NAHL Playoffs appearance, but also players that best the organization’s development program. To date, 21 current and former Aberdeen Wings players have made an NCAA Division I commitment in just 4 years of the team’s existence.
