On Monday, the North American Hockey League announced their Easton Divisional Stars of the Week. Among those receiving honors were to Aberdeen Wings players.
Wings forward #19 Colin O’Neill (F-Odenton, MD) received honorable mention for his two goals in the 6-4 loss to the Bismarck Bobcats on Saturday. O’Neill is a Division I commitment to the University of Massachusetts-Lowell. Last season, O’Neill scored 4 goals and 15 assists. So far in the 2014-2015 season, he has scored 3 goals and 10 assists in 32 games.
Wings defenseman #10 Tanner Okeson (D-Roseau, MN) was named honorable mention for his two goals in the 5-3 victory for Aberdeen over Brookings. As the only current returning defenseman for the Wings, Okeson has scored 6 goals and 7 assists this season so far. Last year, Okeson played in 55 games scoring 4 goals and 12 assists.
